The Verweij Trophy is a trophy entitled for the "dual purpose" Pointer, or in other words, for the Pointer which functional build equals beauty.

In order to be able to win the Verweij Trophy the Pointer, according to the rules, must have obtained in Show at least 3x CAC and at least 2x a result in Field Trial, one of which must be at least Very Good.

The Verweij Trophy was made available by Captain C. Verweij in 1972.
The Dutch Pointer Club will always be owner of this beautiful silver Trophy.
